GIFT IFI Core Banking Infrastructure & Banking-as-a-Services (Baas)
This course introduces the architecture and technologies that power modern core banking systems and the rapidly growing Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) ecosystem. Students will learn how digital cores, microservices, APIs, middleware, and consent-based frameworks such as Account Aggregators enable scalable and compliant banking operations. The course covers integration with CRM and analytics, cloud migration strategies, data governance, and regulatory requirements including KYC/AML automation. A practical case study on building a neo-bank demonstrates how BaaS platforms accelerate innovation in digital finance.
The programme is delivered in hybrid mode.
Minimum qualification: Undergraduate degree.

This programme is suitable for recent graduates, working professionals, startup founders and final-year undergraduate students who want to build a practical understanding of digital payments, banking infrastructure and FinTech systems. Applicants from all academic backgrounds are welcome.
No prior background in finance or technology is required. The programme begins with foundational concepts and progressively moves to applied aspects of digital payments, banking platforms and FinTech infrastructure.
The programme is delivered in a hybrid mode. Participants attend live online classes and have the option to attend sessions in person at the GIFT IFI campus in GIFT City. Recorded lectures are available for revision.
Participants with Gujarat domicile are eligible for a fee reimbursement under the DST registered course framework, subject to applicable conditions.
The Stackable credit model at GIFT IFI provides stacking up of Certificates leading to postgraduate Diplomas and Degrees. This provides immense flexibility to students, working professionals and others to customise their own education according to the needs and time available.
GIFT IFI announces two certificate programmes: 31 January 2026 (Certificate 1) and August 2026 (Certificate 2).
