GIFT International Fintech Institute (GIFT IFI) is a pioneering initiative established by Gujarat International Finance Tech City Company Limited (GIFTCL) in partnership with Ahmedabad University, the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, and the University of California San Diego.
Our mission is to drive India's financial services and fintech sector forward by providing cutting-edge education, research, and innovation for working professionals and young graduates, collaboratively with industry. We are committed to address the evolving needs of the fintech sector with innovative solutions through deep applied research and fostering a vibrant fintech ecosystem.

Course Commencement: Fintech Essentials Professional Certificate Course – Summer Batch 2026
GIFT International Fintech Institute is pleased to announce the commencement of the Fintech Essentials Professional Certificate Course – Summer Batch 2026 on 21 May 2026. The programme offers industry-focused learning through expert-led sessions, masterclasses, and interactive discussions on fintech, digital finance, innovation, and emerging technologies. Participants will gain valuable insights into the trends and developments shaping the evolving financial services ecosystem.
Upcoming Programme: Fintech Essentials Professional Certificate Programme
Starting 15 June 2026, GIFT International Fintech Institute will deliver a 40-hour Fintech Essentials Professional Certificate Programme for M.Sc. Data Science students from Dhirubhai Ambani University. The programme combines an industry-relevant curriculum, global faculty perspectives, and practical fintech insights, enabling participants to explore opportunities at the intersection of finance, technology, AI, and analytics.
Programme Structure
The certificate programme comprises four structured courses, amounting to 16 credits,
and is designed to be completed over 24 weeks.
