GIFT IFI Cybersecurity in Financial Systems
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the security principles, technologies, and regulatory frameworks that safeguard modern financial systems. Students will learn about encryption, authentication, secure coding, IAM, VAPT, and network security for both cloud and on-premise environments. The course covers key compliance standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and RBI’s cybersecurity framework, along with incident response, digital forensics, and AI-driven fraud detection. A detailed case study on a digital bank breach illustrates real-world threat dynamics and mitigation strategies.
The programme is delivered in hybrid mode.
Minimum qualification: Undergraduate degree.

This programme is suitable for recent graduates, working professionals, startup founders and final-year undergraduate students who want to build a practical understanding of digital payments, banking infrastructure and FinTech systems. Applicants from all academic backgrounds are welcome.
No prior background in finance or technology is required. The programme begins with foundational concepts and progressively moves to applied aspects of digital payments, banking platforms and FinTech infrastructure.
The programme is delivered in a hybrid mode. Participants attend live online classes and have the option to attend sessions in person at the GIFT IFI campus in GIFT City. Recorded lectures are available for revision.
Participants with Gujarat domicile are eligible for a fee reimbursement under the DST registered course framework, subject to applicable conditions.
The Stackable credit model at GIFT IFI provides stacking up of Certificates leading to postgraduate Diplomas and Degrees. This provides immense flexibility to students, working professionals and others to customise their own education according to the needs and time available.
GIFT IFI announces two certificate programmes: 31 January 2026 (Certificate 1) and August 2026 (Certificate 2).
